MEET LUCAS COSTA

Lucas Costa, a jiu-jitsu fighter, started his journey at the age of 17 in a team in his neighborhood, under the guidance of Professor Lula. Over time, Lula nurtured Lucas's dream and encouraged him to train and explore different gyms. It was during this process that he met Darlan, a friend who took him to Professor Valter's team, specialized in competitions.

Lucas's life changed when the teacher and jiu-jitsu master, Leopoldo Serao, saw him and Darlan training and competing. Will made a proposal for them to compete in the United States, which sparked in Lucas the desire to make a living from jiu-jitsu and even help his family. His career has been marked by challenges, including two knee surgeries, which have shaped him into a person who values a specific jiu-jitsu style, where technique and the magic of levers, joints and joints are what really matter, with strength being a helper. His jiu-jitsu is more scientific than athletic, and he has developed in that direction, becoming the person he is today, taking jiu-jitsu as a lifestyle that embodies philosophy and respect for difference.

Lucas has already won important titles, such as the Brazilian Championship, podiums at the World Cup, regional and state competitions, the American National Championship and the Pan American Championship. He is currently in the top three brown belt fighters at lightweight, according to the ibjjf.com website.

Today, Lucas projects his career in such a way as to inspire people to become better for themselves and for the world. He not only teaches jiu-jitsu, but also a way of life. Through his participation in competitions, he wants to show everyone that anything is possible when you believe and strive to achieve your goals.
